The Funky Fish Ocean Adventure
Our amazing Marine Science Instructors, certified in CPR create an extraordinary day filled with snorkeling, boogie boarding, skim boarding, eco-ocean art and marine science.
It’s time to make some waves! Motivate your Mermaid Troop to earn badges as we leap into eco-action to protect the ocean with love and respect.

The Girl Scout Experience
Meet and Greet
Our enthusiastic Water Safety / Marine Bio Instructors meet and greet the girls, share their love for the ocean, and ‘wow’ them with some ‘fin’tastic facts.
Beach Clean-up
The ‘Ocean Motion Beach Hike’ to clean-up the shore-line gets the girls going and the fins flowing.
Eco-Art at the beach
Design your own beautiful mermaid backpack, tie-dye t-shirt / bandanna or hemp surfer jewelry for our eco-ocean art project.**
Pool Snorkeling
Make a splash! Professional snorkeling lessons in the pool. Learning the Funky Fish Formula instills a confident, safe, and knowledgeable foundation in the water.
Oceanology and Lunch
Every mermaid needs to eat! Lunch is included and even though bellies are full, their minds are still hungry for Funky Factology. That’s when dedicated ‘Oceanology’ marine science time allows the girls to work together as a troop, share ideas, ask questions and interact with the Funky Fish Fact Board.
Ocean Snorkeling / Boogie/ Skim Boarding
Our ocean awareness gets put into practice as the girls take their snorkel skills to the shallow ocean. They can catch some waves on boogie boards to glide and ride the tides and skimboard the shoreline to feel like they are walking on water!
We BELIEVE in learning about the ocean, through the ocean, at the ocean
Thanks to their time at Funky Fish, the girls will take their environmental stewardship beyond a single day at the beach. Together they can work toward advancing eco-awareness in their community that benefits the earth.
