Pool Snorkeling
Our Eco-Ocean Adventures begin with professional snorkeling lessons in the resort pool as confidence is the key to ocean connection.
Ocean Snorkeling
Buddying up and heading to the beach for snorkeling in the shallow ocean searching for fish and hunting for shells. This unique experience allows their pool practice to come full-circle with snorkeling synergy skills serving these Funky Fish for a lifetime!
Boogie Boarding
Engage with the wave! Know when to ride by learning skillful timing, practicing patience, boogie board theory and simple sand stretches with our professional instructors. These unique Funky Fish components teach the children to confidently catch the waves and connect with the ocean.
Skim Boarding
The next natural thrill is engaging the waves and skimming the shoreline. Professional skim boarding lessons expand on tactics and techniques – the tools to achieve balance, build stamina, and guarantee salty sun-kissed smiles.
Oceanology
Threaded through the fabric of every Funky Fish week is our passion for protecting the ocean.
The Instructors use the Funky Fish Oceanology Fact Board to teach about ocean awareness, underwater animals, coral reef systems and marine science. Together, we quench our curiosity by sharing seasonally-selected topics like Turtleology, Sharkology and Dolphinology – giving us well-rounded insights of all things ocean.
Lunch
Funky Fish get hungry too, so lunch is included every day except for the Friday Boat Adventure with customized Funky Fish menus.
Eco-Art Clean Ups
Our campers give-back to the ocean. Beach-combing for treasures to turn into repurposed take-home mementos. Ocean Inspiration on the kid-friendly beach clean-ups. Tie-Dying T-Shirts and bandannas for one-of-a-kind bring home designs and creating surfer hemp jewelry and keychains to showcase your adventures.
